Our aim is to simplify movement and remove barriers to participation.
This ‘How to Guide’ is an accompaniment for our ‘At Home Training’ videos.
In combination, the resources are designed to simplify the getting started phase for newbies to exercise and movement in general.
Our aim is to remove some of the common barriers to movement that the research suggests and present content in a way that is engaging and easy to use.
By utilizing these resources, you will give yourself a great foundation of movement to build upon in the future. In doing so, we hope you begin to formulate a positive association with movement and all it can do for wellbeing.
About 'At Home Training'
The ‘At Home Training’ resource on our website was were designed for the following reason:
‘To make movement more accessible to all experience levels.’
In its creation we have considered the most common barriers to participation that the research suggests, Time, Motivation, Socioeconomic Factors, and more recently confusion surrounding ‘what to do…’.
The resource, along with its complimentary material, have been designed to be time efficient, financially viable, can be done in any environment you feel comfortable, consider aspects of the Self Determination Theory, and most importantly, are presented in a simplistic format.
So, if you are a complete newbie to exercise, if you live a mostly sedentary lifestyle, if you have encountered poor movement experiences in the past, then the ‘At Home Training’ concept is for you!
